First, signs of the nation’s difficult financial situation popped up in Yankees camp, and now it looks like the Brewers are experiencing cost-cutting measures, as evidenced by their experiment to play the 2009 campaign without gloves.

“Buying gloves for 25 guys can get really costly,” said an unidentified Brewers employee. “Instead, we plan on putting those monies towards getting Bernie Brewer his vat of beer back.”
Luckily for us, the above photos are from the waist up. According to reports, the Brewers have also cut pants from their budget.
Might bring more women to the park if they weren’t wearing pants.

Hahahaha. Apparently the difficult financial situation is everywhere in the league. MLB ball clubs spend way too much money on their players and they wonder why they are in a difficult financial situation, excluding what the economy is doing to this country right know. Scott Boras is Satan. As for the Brewers glove-less photos, it gave me a mental picture of the entire camp running around playing catch with themselves. Milwaukee’s best…
