Monday’s edition of “Inside the mind of The Max” was so well received (by ourselves) that we decided to let you back into our noggins to see the questions that have been occupying our thoughts. Let us know if you’ve been thinking the same thing:
Who would’ve thought that 38 seconds lasted so long?
- Don’t you think A-Rod deserves to be treated a little better, considering he is the only mega-star to stand up and say he did it?
- Don’t you think that if A-Rod found a cure for the common cold, people would get mad at him for not focusing his efforts on cancer?
- Don’t you just want to carry Nate Robinson around in your pocket?
- Aren’t you glad Manny Ramirez doesn’t have a job yet?
- Aren’t you sad Ken Griffey, Jr., doesn’t have a job yet?
- Why doesn’t the NFL come under the same steroid scrutiny as MLB?
The players in the NFL could beat up the congressmen who would be doing the asking, sad for Griffey (though that might end today), glad about Manny, no I don’t think A-Rod deserves to be treated better and yes – 38 seconds is L-O-N-G.

In answer to your questions, 38 seconds was way too long and made him seem more guilty.
A-Rod made it worse for himself by answering the way he did.
I am glad about Manny, sad about Ken and know that the NFL is handling this better because Selig has done a terrible job of fixing this problem. 100 plus names are out there. Why only pick on A-Rod?

Lol, that 3rd bullet point was pretty funny.. even more funny because it’s true. I don’t think people could be any harder on him. He’ll probably always be the guy everyone loves to hate though so I hope he’s used to it.

Griffey has a job. Yay! What’s with the Braves? They can’t seem to sign the players they want? (Furcal? Burnett?)
