New show from YES

16 Jan

Hey loyal reader(s) of The Max, the YES web guy has asked us to post this pilot episode of a new show they will be debuting shortly. The goal, I suppose, is to solicit as much feedback on the show as possible before launching it on YESNetwork.com. You know the routine, watch the show, then comment below.

Great show. Kinda feels like The Soup. If you are in fact looking for feedback, though, it feels a little long. Got bored after a while.

Without a paddle 2… seriously? I’m sure it’s flying off store shelves.

My feedback is that the “dish” items were on all the blogs already. (Even I had a post about A-Rod and Kate Hudson and I’m hardly breaking news on She-Fan.) I’d love some insider stuff, but this isn’t very “insider.”

I really like it. Unlike what Jane thinks, I don’t think it’s meant to break news. I think it’s meant to relay the news stories in a tongue and cheek way, somewhat like the soup. They never broke a story on that show, but they told the stories in a humorous fashion.

However, for people that don’t have the luxury of looking at blogs and being on the internet all day, it is kind of new news.

I do agree with Metseptember, maybe one less story would have done the trick, but other than that nothing to gripe about.

I’ll agree with the above comments that it felt like it went a little long. I also think that a different host would be better. Teddy’s timing seemed forced and she looked and sounded uncomfortable.

Julia, I don’t agree with that. I think there is a lot of potential there. She’s very attractive and has a good personality.

    We’ll see though.

Lame. C’mon, stop being polite. This is LAME and we all know it.

I’m with JimmyGobble… tons of potential. I’m not with Jane though. I don’t think it’s a breaking news video. It’s just for fun, I guess.

this looks like the nooner on sny. you should at least appear like you’re trying to do something original.

I gotta be honest, I’m a Met fan and go to both sites from time to time. If anyone has stolen more original ideas it’s SNY, who started doing original stuff way after YES.com and took a lot of their concepts. Anyway the Nooner is somewhat different than this and not really that well done. The SNY set and writing is cheese.

This is a rip-off of a rip-off of a rip-off (Style ripped off The Soup, and SNY ripped off Style, and now YES is ripping off SNY)….. Hell, at least Style used Topanga as their host….. Pass on this and stick to being the Yankees Entertainment Station……. At the VERY least, have A-Rod or Joba do it for a bit of a originality……-Big Jay
