The Super Bowl shine has finally washed away from Plaxico Burress. But have no fear, things are starting to look up for the self-centered Giants wide receiver. Just days after shooting himself in the thigh, The Max has learned that Burress has now moved into a first place tie in the standings for New York’s Most Undeserving Athlete.

His co-leader in the standings could not be reached for comment:

I can not wait to hear Plaxico explain how he “accidentially” shot himself in the leg in a night club! Did he think he was reaching for his…..ummmm…..keys when he pulled the trigger?

It is so frustrating to see these super rich, star athletes do stupid things or think about nothing but themselves in Marbury’s case. As for Burress, is it really that hard to sit at home in your mansion counting all your money instead of going out to strip clubs, making it rain, and shooting yourself? As for Marbury, he is just a waste of talent. He is fine doing whatever as long as he gets his money. That is so ridiculous. He is the lowlife of sports, not just basketball. I have never seen an athlete as greedy as him. I wish he would get released and then not picked up by anyone.
