NLCS Game 4, PS3 Style

tiger.jpgWith the Phillies leading the Dodgers 2-1 in The Max’s simulated NLCS, we’ve loaded each team’s lineups into our PS3 to see what the computer thinks will go down tonight. The winner of this series will go on the play the Red Sox, who swept the Rays in our ALCS. Here we go:

So, the Dodgers pull it off at home and tie the series at two. But the real fun came when our PS3 spotted Tiger Woods in the crowd during the 4th inning, allowing us to use this photo of the world’s greatest golfer. He must be a big fan, seeing as he was also at the real Game 3 of the NLCS.

NLCS Game 3, PS3 Style

dodgers.jpgOur PS3 has put the Dodgers in a 2-0 hole as they head back to L.A. in an attempt to get back into the series. Let’s hope it’s a little more competitive than that mess the PS3 called an ALCS. Here’s how it played out:

NLCS Game 2, PS3 Style

nlcs.jpgAccording the expert analysis provided by The Max’s PS3, the Phillies took Game 1 of the NLCS by a score of 14-3. Because we know you will probably be stuck in traffic while Game 2 is underway, we have simulated this matchup as well. Now, you can drive home from work listening to Mike Francesa already knowing the outcome of the game. Here goes:

Both teams got strong performances out of their starters (Billingsley and Myers). But in the end, it was Torre using Proctor on back-to-back days (again) that cost the Dodgers.

theshow.jpgOk, guys. You may not realize it right now, but you’re not going to be able to watch Game 1 of the NLCS tonight. Sorry, your girl is going to make you watch Grey’s Anatomy instead. Stop denying you wear the pants and just watch the average looking girls overact for an hour.
